Studies of the works of Sri Kapali Sastry. All those who aspire to learn the spiritual import of Sastriar are welcome here.

A yogi, poet and scholar of unfathomable depth, Sastriar created works that sculpt an integral yogic pathway for aspirants of Sri Aurobindo's Integral yoga. This page is designed to study, share and bring to light some of the gems from Sastriar.

All quoted material here is from the Collected works of T.V.Kapali Sastry, edited by Sri.M.P.Pandit and published by Dipti Publications, Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry. The administrators of this page will endeavor to stay as close as possible to original texts in these study circle posts.

The first objective shall be to provide an introduction to the various topics that Sastriar has written upon. Each new area of study will be posted under a separate status update and further related posts shall be posted as comments. Those posts that have comments are identified by the presence of a comments icon at the right hand side bottom.

Constant presence


सन्ततं दैवसान्निध्यं
देहे मे वर्धतां हृदि
तवास्यां देहयात्रायां
येन स्यान्निर्भयो जयः ||

santatam daiva saaniddhyam
dehe me vardhataam hrdi
tavaasyaam deha yaatraayaam
yena syaannirbhayo jayah .

Let the constant Presence, the Guide, grow fuller and fuller in my body, in the heart, more and more vivid.

Thus may the soul's victory in Thy movement be fearlessly achieved.
